Privacy Policy
It seems everyone is worried about security. All types of security. We want you
to know that we take the security of your account and personal information very
seriously. Our systems, our people, and our policies have all been developed with
security as a top priority.
We will be diligent in finding and evaluating the latest technologies available
to keep ahead of threats. We also want you, as a consumer, to know the precautions
you can take to recognize and avoid the security risks that exist. The following
information explain these technologies and precautions in more detail.
A Commitment to Security
We are all responsible in some way for the safety and security of our personal and
account information, and we're making it a top priority. What follows is a brief
overview of how we undertake this responsibility and then some easy-to-follow tips
you can use to heighten the security of your accounts and personal information.
Our Part
Here are some of the things we do with our technology and our internal training
to ensure that your information in our systems is protected:
- We use firewall systems and intrusion detection software to prohibit unauthorized
access.
- We encrypt sensitive information that is transmitted over the Internet.
- We build information security right into our systems and networks using only the
latest internationally recognized security standards, regulations, and industry-based
’best practices’.
- We require our associates to take information security awareness training and to
apply this training to their job every day.
Your Part
You can help prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information
by following these security tips:
- Your user ID (user name) and password represent the keys you use to access your
account information on our system. Keep these “keys” in your possession only–please
protect them as you would your house keys.
- Follow the password tips that are presented on the registration page when you create
a new password. That way no one else will be able to guess your password.
- When you have been viewing your account information, paying a bill online, or performing
any other transaction online, make sure that you use the Log Out button when you
are finished. Then close your browser completely. This ensures that no one can use
the computer after you and see your account information.
- When you are about to transmit information over the internet, make note of the "https://"
prefix in the URL and a key or padlock icon in the browser's status bar or navigation
toolbar indicate that the page within the Web site is secure. You can further inspect
the validity of the certificate by clicking on the key or padlock icon to insure
that the Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority has identified this Web site as
www.graphicterminal.com.
- If you believe that an unauthorized person has accessed your account, let us know
as soon as possible by calling 780.919.7821.
The activities described above are subject to change without notice, but we intend
to update this and include new tips when it is appropriate and helpful to you.
